50th Anniversary

50th Anniversary, Sunday 26th February 2006

We were honoured to welcome Grant Shapps MP, Cllr Carl Storer (Chairman of the WHC), Dr Simon Hochhauser (President of the United Synagogue) and Phillip Baker (representing the Friends). The ceremony was attended by the present and past congregation and tea was taken in Campus West. The only regret was the absence of Gunter Tuch, our Chairman, because of ill health.

Many of the congregation were able to help write the new Sefer in R Hyman’s house. It was completed by the Chief Rabbi who carried it into the Shul under a canopy, surrounded by the children.
